EurAm Fine Art
A Discussion Group for Art Lovers
McAllen, Texas & Monterrey, N.L., Mexico
We all here enjoy exploring the art scene and meeting other like-minded souls. Everyone is different, but there's one thing that we share: we all love art.
No matter if it is paintings, theatre, dance, graphics, music, sculpture, photography, literature, films or anything else...
Let's go to see exhibitions, performances, readings, presentations, artist talks, classes, concerts, etc. together and meet for a drink and a chat afterwards to share our opinions, thoughts and impressions.
Regardless of your level of experience and knowledge of art, you are more than welcome to join our group, to network and meet other fans and participate in the art creation or consumption process.
Little galleries, artist studios and well known museums. Small bars and large concert halls. Everything is on the list.
Feel free to join, suggest or organize any type of event that fits our style.
Let's share, grow, learn, create, inspire, and get inspired together!
This group is for art lovers, beginners and experts, who want to explore art in a fun, practical and interesting way. With the collaboration of current artists, we will travel through art history to learn from the life and work of the most famous artists. We will chat about their contexts, learn from their style with our own hands and indulge ourselves with gastronomy from their countries of origin.
Attendance Policy
- Respect and consideration for others are important; be considerate by refraining from being a "NO SHOW" (Not showing up and leaving your RSVP a "yes", or changing RSVP to a "no" within 2 hours of an event and not communicating with the organizer).
- Make sure you are able to make it to an event to which you RSVP and if you anticipate a conflict or being late, give us a heads up. We understand that things come up and life interferes, but please do your best.
- If you find that you can't make it to something you've signed up for -- CHANGE YOUR RSVP as soon as possible, or call/text/message an organizer/event host if it is within 4 hours of the event. If you don't show up AND make no effort to let the Event Planner know what happened --- that's a "NO SHOW".
- No Show/Late Cancel policy: If you have a history of doing this (we keep track of attendance on your profile), we won't be able to count on you to show up when you say you are going to. Out of respect and courtesy to others that DO show up, we may bump you to the waiting list for meetups with limited space in favor of those with a positive attendance history. If you make a habit out of no showing or late cancelling, we will remove you from the group.
No Show Policy
- One No Show = "No Show" will be added to the member's title as a warning ( this rule is retroactive )
- Two No Shows = The member will be removed from the group.
- Changing from a Yes to a No less than 4 hours before a event will be considered a no show unless you can provide a reasonable excuse and you contact the organizer via email.
- Please be considerate and change your RSVP at least 48 hours before the meetup so that other members have a chance to RSVP.
- If you were bringing multiple guests and your group does not show up, you will be marked as a 'multiple' No Show.
- When you have one "no show", your 'title' within our group will be marked as a "No Show" (so that this information shows up when you RSVP).
- You can have this title and your "no show" count removed by attending two meetup events without any problems.
